CAMPBELL

  • As a point of introduction, I am Randy Campbell. When I was a young boy growing up in Simpsonville, SC, I never dreamt I would be a Regional Sales Manager for Patterson Fan. Instead, I thought my love for baseball would lead me to play third base for the New York Yankees… life is a curveball!

As Regional Sales Manager, I’ve been blessed developing the states of Texas, Illinois, and Indiana along with a handful of National Accounts. I have been a blessed in my twelve years plus at Patterson Fan to achieve numerous sales honors in the Regional Sales Group. This was accomplished by listening and understanding my customers’ needs and seizing upon those opportunities and challenges.

I’ve learned no air movement problem is too small. By walking with my customers on a daily basis I’ve been able to grow my territory and cultivate relationships along the way. I get a high sense of accomplishment when I can help solve a problem my customers may have with air movement.

While not at Patterson Fan, my time is spent with family including two miniature dachshunds. I labor on the modest “Campbell Estate” honing my own “Garden of Eden”. This includes a seasonal battle each year to keep a pesky squirrel, rabbit, and deer away from flower beds and the vegetable garden.

After a few decades of hibernation, I’ve been reunited with some old high school buddies and we’ve resurrected our old Rock n’ Roll band… (that record deal has got to be right around the corner).

I am a huge sports fan and die many deaths each year following the trials and tribulations of the Yankees, Braves, Carolina Panthers, and others. I love our country and pray for eternal blessings for the USA and its citizens.

CAMPOLONG

  • I joined Patterson Fan Company in January 2018 as a Regional Territory Manager. After spending 9 years in sales/account management for a software development company, I am proud to be part of the Patterson family. I have enjoyed much success creating “win-win” relationships with my clients in the past and look forward to bringing this philosophy to my role at Patterson.

I am originally from South Carolina, and have spent the majority of my life here (outside of a short stint in Atlanta after college). I graduated from the University of South Carolina and received a Bachelor of Science in Sports and Entertainment Management. I’m passionate about all Gamecocks sports, but follow football, baseball and basketball more closely than others.

Outside of the office, I enjoy everything outdoors. My wife and I enjoy traveling wherever we can, but tend to prefer the coast of SC when we are able to get away. In 2017, we welcomed our first daughter to the world. We look forward to seeing her grow and including her in all our adventures.

During that time, I established Patterson Fan’s first signed National Account agreement. In 2005, I was promoted to one of six Regional Account Managers, and then in 2009 I became Sales Manager for all of Regional Sales.

In addition to my current responsibilities, I’ve been tasked to lead a new group to target the growing number of online retailers that are expanding and building. We want to ensure that these companies receive the attention and knowledge of our staff that they deserve. I’m excited about this new group and the potential it holds.

NATIONAL ACCOUNTS MANAGER

PATTERSON

  • Matt, a third-generation employee, is the dedicated Account Manager for FedEx and UPS. He holds a B.B.A. in Business Management from Mesa State University in Grand Junction, Colorado.

Matt began as a summer intern in 2000; he had the opportunity to experience production, traveling road sales, trade shows and performed various levels of market research. A full-time employee since 2006, Matt has held various levels of responsibility in the sales department. As a FedEx Account Manager, he has had the opportunity to work closely with FedEx engineers to help develop a new loading dock fan designed specifically to suit the needs of FedEx.

Although he’s only been an employee since 2006, he has been a member of the Patterson family since 1980. Matt’s father and grandfather started Patterson Fan Company in 1989; he’s been a part of the business as long as he can remember and is proud to be able to come into work every day and serve those customers that help get us where we are today.

Outside of work, Matt is probably most notable for coining the phrase, “Flip that puppy on the sunny time.” While much debate still surrounds the exact meaning of this popular expression, the two prevailing schools of thought are “look for the bright side of any situation” or “let’s put a pin in this discussion until the following day.” A third, and perhaps most widely accepted interpretation is: it’s complete gibberish. If by some miraculous twist of fate you’ve yet to encounter this common idiom in your day to day life, don’t worry, soon you will.
